The best way to determine if a YMCA membership is for you is to take a tour of our facility. Our knowledgeable staff will be able to answer questions and assist you in making one of the best decisions of your life. Tours can be given at any time that is convenient for you and your family.

As a benefit of a YMCA membership, bring your membership card and photo ID and enjoy free access to almost every YMCA in the United States. YMCA members must utilize their home branches at least 51% of the time. SilverSneakers® , Silver&Fit®, Active&fit® and Renew Active™ members do not qualify. Please call the YMCA you plan to visit for schedules and to confirm participation, as some restrictions may apply.
The Lawrence County YMCA offers financial assistance to those with an inability to pay. Financial assistance is available for both membership and programs (maximum of 50% for programs; no discounts for programs $15 or less) and is made possible through contributions to the YMCA’s Annual Campaign.
The goal of our Financial Assistance Program is to help as many people in need as possible. Partial assistance is available for those who qualify.

Drop-In Child Watch is a benefit provided to members of the Lawrence County YMCA. Designed as short-term care for children(ages 6 months to 8 years) for members utilizing the facility (2 hours maximum, unless your child(ren) is under 1 year of age). Members MAY NOT leave the building while their child is in Drop in Child watch. Our Drop-In service is FREE for those with a family membership, and just $1 per hour, per child, for other members. Drop-In Child watch: first come-first serve. Maximum number of children at one time is 10 children.

Monday through Thursday Evenings | 4:00pm to 7:00pm

Personal Training Packages
To help meet your schedule and needs, personal training is now available in 1-hour and 30-minute packages:
In-person 1-Hour Packages:
- 4 sessions: $155
- 8 sessions: $275
- 10 sessions: $320
In-person 30-Minute Packages:
- 5 sessions: $110
- 10 sessions: $200
- 15 sessions: $290
Virtual 30-Minute Packages:
- 1 session: $22
- 3 sessions: $60
- 5 sessions: $95
Try out the Y for a week! Use a Lawrence County YMCA trial pass. A Trial pass is good for a one time (7 consecutive days) use at either branch location with the Lawrence County YMCA.
Individuals must bring a photo ID to be copied and are required to sign waivers before entering the facilities. Individuals wishing to try out the Y MUST be 18 years or older. After the 7 consecutive days are up, individuals that wish to continue use of the YMCA are welcome to become a member or purchase a day pass.
A monthly fee will be deducted from your checking or savings account. The member is responsible for verifying all drafts and draft cancellations. Errors must be brought to the attention of the Membership Director. The YMCA will not be responsible for draft errors beyond 30 days!
A monthly fee will be charged to your credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express).
Pay your annual membership with cash, check or credit card. Annual membership dues are non-refundable.
Our Y offers financial support for all family, adult, student and youth memberships. Financial aid is awarded based on income, number of participants in the family, and the amount of scholarship dollars available. The amount is based on guidelines from the Y- USA, which is based on USA 2015 Poverty Guidelines. Children are given first preference for any funds available.
- Download a financial assistance application.
- Complete the application and return it to the YMCA with verification of current income, such as IRS tax forms and any government assistance. *No application will be considered without documentation of income *
- Financial Assistance will continue as long as payments are made according to the arrangement. Once a membership is terminated for nonpayment, it is unlikely that it will be reinstated.
- Your information is kept confidential and will only be seen by YMCA staff professionals.
- Assistance is provided for one year. After one year, you must reapply if assistance is still needed.

Guest Pass Policy– Guests must bring a photo ID to be copied and are required to sign waivers before entering the facilities. Guests wishing to try out the Y without a guest pass from a Y member MUST be 18 years or older. Y members must be 18 years of age or older to distribute guest passes. After the 7 consecutive days are up, guest that wish to continue use of the YMCA are welcome to become a member.

Swimming Pool–Lap Swim is open to members age 10+. A parent/guardian must be present in the Y if swimmers are under age 14. Anyone not swimming laps for open lap time will be asked to leave the pool area.
Wellness Center- Members who are 13+ must have a Wellness Orientation. Youth Members ages 9-11 must go through a wellness center orientation and be accompanied by an adult to use the facility.
Free Weight–Weight room is available for adults ages 14+. Youth members 12-13 can use the weight room with a parent or guardian.
Racquetball Courts- Members ages 15+ are permitted to use the courts unsupervised. Members 12-14 can use the courts if they are supervised by a parent or guardian.
Basketball Courts- Anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult to use the basketball courts.
Fitness Studio–Members must be 16 years old to participate. Children ages 12-15 are permitted to take classes with a participating parent.
Spin Center–Members must be 16 years old to participate.
Family locker rooms- are open to all members until 3:00PM. After 3:00PM, only families with children are allowed to use the locker room.
